Writing Through the Grief with Tom Fox
On this week’s episode of The True North Show I am joined by Tom Fox who shares the incredible account of what happened in Texas Hill Country in July 2025 when the Guadalupe River raged and flooded the community. By way of processing his grief, Tom approached the Mayor and asked if he could write a book about what happened on that day and to share the stories of those who lost their lives and the community members who stepped in to rebuild. Tom’s journey has been one of resilience and remembering and it is obvious that what happened still affects him today. Our conversation is both deeply personal and inspiring, I am so grateful to Tom for sharing his story.
